Serbian sommelier, Vuk Vuletić, is the representative of the Serbian Sommelier Association at the Best Sommelier of the World Contest, which will be held from February 7 to 12, 2023, at the Pullman Montparnasse hotel in Paris, France.
At this most prestigious sommelier competition, the current champions of Europe and Africa, America, as well as Asia and Oceania, will be among the 68 candidates. The competition is not small, but Vuk is preparing hard and firmly believes that he will surpass his result from four years ago.
We remind you that in 2019, at the same competition held in Antwerp, Belgium, Vuk performed in the semi-finals and took 19th place among 66 competitors from 63 countries of the world.
The qualifications and semi-finals in Paris will be held behind closed doors, while the finals of the competition will be open to the public, on February 12 at 2 p.m., in the famous Paris La Défense Arena.
The Serbian public will have the opportunity to follow Vuk’s success through the website and social networks of the Association of Sommeliers of Serbia, and the competition of the finalists will be broadcast live through the link of the International Association of Sommeliers – ASI.
